Trident Autonomous Systems

Integrated autonomous and remote-controlled maritime support

Trident Dynamics is redefining how the world approaches autonomous and remote-controlled maritime operations.

Existing systems often deliver narrow, single-purpose capability, forcing operators to manage multiple platforms to achieve mission flexibility. Trident changes that equation.

Our modular support craft are engineered in both deep- and shallow-water configurations, combining versatility, endurance, and intelligent control in one integrated system.

Each vessel is supported by innovative launch and recovery, refuelling, and recharging technologies, along with interchangeable modular payloads that enable smooth transition between inspection, maintenance, logistics, and intervention missions.

Built on Trident’s proprietary lightweight components and modular design philosophy, every system shares common tooling, materials, and manufacturing processes, creating a scalable, interoperable autonomous ecosystem designed for reliable operation in the world’s most challenging marine environments.

Our Autonomous Product Range

Trident Longfin®

The next generation of offshore support.

The Trident Longfin® is a fully specified, lightweight remotely controlled workboat designed for offshore support operations.

Featuring multi-fuel power, shaftless propulsion, and intelligent station-keeping, Longfin provides multi-mission capability through modular payloads supporting aerial, surface, and subsea functions.

Its unique launch and recovery system enables both “temporary guest” and “permanent resident” configurations within host vessel architectures, offering year-round operational support previously limited to costly, high-risk specialist vessels.

Longfin® represents a fundamental step-change in offshore support.

Trident Shortfin®

Robust performance in shallow and confined waters.

Purpose-built for littoral and inshore operations, the Trident Shortfin® combines durability, stability, and adaptability.

Its lightweight construction, multi-fuel power, and innovative propulsion systems deliver reliable performance in debris-strewn, shallow water environments.

With modular deck systems for payload or cargo, Shortfin® supports ship-to-shore logistics, riverine operations, and coastal maintenance.

It can be launched from beaches, riverbanks, cranes, davits, or even deployed by aerial assets, offering unmatched operational flexibility.

Trident Modular Payloads

Interoperable capability across missions and environments.

All Trident Modular Payloads are interoperable across both Longfin® and Shortfin® platforms.

Each compact, rapidly changeable payload integrates directly with onboard power, communication, and control systems, delivering mission-specific functionality such as:

  • Observation, mapping, and tracking

  • Inspection, measurement, and sensor probing

  • Physical intervention and manipulation

  • Search, rescue, and firefighting

This modular approach enables operators to transition instantly between mission types, maximising vessel utilisation and operational uptime.
